Hello and welcome to designoxygen.com. I started this blog for the purpose of sharing my enthusiasm and interests about design. My career background has two paths. The first is my design experience as a Designer, Art Director and Design Director. The second path is that of an educator in colleges and universities in northeastern Ohio and western Pennsylvania including my most recent position as an Associate Professor of Media Art + Design program. My professional design interests cover a wide range of “design”; including fine art, graphic design, filmmaking, motion graphics, 3D modeling, rendering and animation, illustration, photography, design history, architecture, landscape design and industrial design. As a professor of art and design, my research covers the areas of 3D printing (additive manufacturing) computational design and design history. This blog is also a conduit of disseminating information to my students.
